Ingredients
- For the filling
- 350 g apple
- 150 g blackberries
- 50 g caster sugar
- For the crumble
- 300 g plain flour
- 150 g cold buttery/vegetable spread
- 75 g demarara sugar

Preparation
- Peel, core and dice the apple.
Method
- Step 1
- Preheat a fan-assisted oven to 180°C.
- Step 2
- Mix the filling ingredients in a 23cm x 23cm oven dish.
- Step 3
- In a bowl, add the crumble ingredients together.
- Step 4
- Rub the ingredients between your hands until the butter is combined. The ingredients will feel crumbly.
- Step 5
- Bake in the oven for 30 mins.
- Step 6
- Serve hot or cold with cream or custard.
