Bacon Wrapped Asparagus Topped With Cheese

Ingredients
- 8 x asparagus spears
- 4 x bacon rashers
- 40 g cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp oil

Method
- Step 1
- Preheat a fan-assisted oven to 200° C.
- Step 2
- Wrap one rasher of bacon around two asparagus spears. Try to wind the bacon from top to bottom and cover most of the spears.
- Place the bacon-wrapped asparagus in a casserole dish.
- Pour over the oil and use a pastry brush to brush each bundle with oil.
- Step 3
- Roast in the oven for 15 minutes.
- Step 4
- Meanwhile, grate the cheese. Then, when the 15 minutes is up, sprinkle the cheese over the bacon asparagus bundles.
- Step 5
- Set the oven timer for further 15 minutes.
- Step 6
- Serve.
