
A tongue-twistingly tangy salad which easy to make - not for everyone but I liked it!

Balsamic Avocado And Orange Salad

Ingredients
- 1 x butter lettuce
- 3 x oranges
- 12 x cherry tomatoes
- 1 x yellow bell pepper
- 2 x avocados
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp dried basil
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
Instructions
Preparation
- Roughly chop the butter lettuce.
- Peel the oranges and cut the segments in half.
- Cut the tomatoes into quarters.
- Dice the yellow pepper.
- Dice the avocados.
Method
- Step 1
- Add all the vegetables and fruit to a large salad bowl.
- Step 2
- Mix the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, black pepper and basil separately.
- Step 3
- Add the balsamic vinaigrette to the salad and mix.
- Step 4
- Serve.
