Ingredients
- For the burger
- 500 g beef mince
- 1 x egg
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tbsp oil (for use in a frying pan)

- Take the meat out of the fridge 30 mins before use to warm up, Carl's fingers will thank you...
Method
- Step 1
- In a large bowl, mix the beef mince, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Step 2
- Squish the burger mixture through your fingers until the texture becomes smooth and soft.
- Divide the mixture into 4.
- Step 3 For the frying pan
- Heat the oil in a large frying pan on a medium heat. (Number 6.)
- Step 3 For the George Forman Grill
- Turn it on.
- Step 4For the frying pan
- Take a handful of the meat and drop it in the pan and use a spatula to pat it into a rough shape that will fit in a bun.
- Fry the burgers on one side for 4 mins.
- Carefully turn them over, press down a little to flatten, and fry on the other side for 3 mins.
- Check to see if they are done, if not return to the heat and fry for longer.
- Step 4For the George Forman Grill
- Take a handful of the meat and splat it on the grill.
- Lower the lid.
- Wait 4 mins.
- Remove the burger and splat the next one.
- Step 5
- Serve.
