
Machine-made chocolate ice cream, without the need for eggs or cooking. It was super fast to make and everyone large, small, young and old, thought it was great!

Budget Chocolate Ice Cream

Ingredients
- 500 ml cream
- 350 ml milk
- 200 g sugar
- 50 g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
Instructions
Method
- Step 1
- Whisk the cream until stiff.
- Step 2
- In a separate bowl, whisk the milk, sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla essence until the sugar and cocoa powder are mixed in.
- Step 3
- Whisk the cocoa mixture into the whipped cream until fully incorporated.
- Step 4
- Chill in the fridge for 2 hours.
- Step 5
- Make the ice cream according to the ice cream machine instructions.
- NOTE Our icecream machine is slightly small for this recipe and while it can take all of it, it works better with two churnings.
- Step 6
- Serve as a sloppy or place in the freezer for a couple of hours.
