Herbed Crispy Chicken Wings

Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken wings
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp sweet paprika
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp basil
- ¼ tsp thyme
- ¼ tsp ground ginger
- ¼ tsp oregano
- ¼ tsp mustard powder
- sprays of oil
Instructions
Preparation
- Allow 1 hour for the chicken to marinate.
- Remove the chicken from the fridge 15 minutes before cooking to warm up.
Method
- Step 1
- Add all the herbs and spices to a marinating bag.
- Step 2
- Pat dry the chicken wings with kitchen paper, then add the wings to the bag.
- Seal the bag, and shake until all the chicken is covered.
- Leave the chicken in the bag in the fridge for a minimum of 1 hour.
- Step 3
- Remove the chicken from the fridge and allow it to warm.
- Step 4
- Spritz the air fryer with oil and set it for 200°C and 30 mins.
- Step 5
- When ready, add the chicken wings to the air fryer and spritz the wings with oil.
- Step 6
- When the time is up, check the chicken is cooked and that the juices run clear before serving.
