
A basic recipe for pork roast for cheaper cuts, gives a medium pork roast for everyone with left-overs.

Ingredients
- 1.2 kg boneless pork loin
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp salt

Preparation
- Remove the meat from the fridge 30 mins before cooking.
Method
- Step 1
- Preheat a fan-assisted oven to 200°C.
- Step 2
- Lightly score the meat with a sharp knife; stab the thicker bits of fat instead.
- Rub the salt into the meat on all sides.
- Rub the meat again with the oil.
- Step 3
- Place the tray in the oven.
- Cook for 50 mins until a meat thermometer reads 70° C or above.
- Wrap the cooked meat in aluminium foil and rest for 30 mins.
- Step 4
- Serve.
