
A basic pork tenderloin recipe that gives a medium roasted pork tenderloin for two adults.

Roast Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients
- 400 g pork tenderloin
- 1 tsp lard
- ½ tsp salt

Preparation
- Remove the pork from the fridge about 30 minutes before cooking to warm up.
Method
- Step 1
- Preheat a fan-assisted oven to 200°C.
- Place a baking tray in the oven with the lard.
- Step 2
- Rub the pork all over with the salt.
- Step 3
- In the baking tray with the now hot lard, place the pork tenderloin and roll it on all sides to cover it with the ghee.
- Step 4
- Roast for 30 mins.
- Step 5
- Remove and wrap in aluminium foil for a further 20 mins.
- Step 6
- Cut and serve.
