These were quite tasty, but be careful not to overcook.

Roasted Lamb Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 500 g lamb mince
  • 60g (½ medium ) onion
  • ½ tbsp dried parsley
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ⅛ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ⅛ tsp allspice

Instructions

Preparation

  • Finely shred the fennel. (I use the food processor.)

Method

  • Step 1
    • Preheat a fan-assisted oven to 200°C.
  • Step 2
    • Precook the fennel for 1 min in the microwave.
  • Step 3
    • In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients.
    • Squeeze the ingredients in your hands until the texture becomes smooth.
    • Shape the mixture into 15-20 small meatballs.
  • Step 4
    • Spread the meatballs out on a baking tray.
    • Roast in the oven for 25 mins turning halfway through.
  • Step 5
    • Serve.
