
A basic recipe for oven-baked salmon fillet. Fussless salmon.

Salmon Fillet

Ingredients
- 2 x 200 g salmon fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp salt

Preparation
- Remove the salmon from the fridge 15 mins before cooking.
Method
- Step 1
- Pre-heat a fan-assisted oven to 200°C.
- Step 2
- Dry the salmon with kitchen paper.
- Step 3
- Rub the salt into the sides of the salmon fillets.
- Place each salmon fillet onto aluminium foil, and make the foil large enough to form a 'packet' around the salmon.
- Pour 1 tbsp of the oil over each fillet.
- Seal the 'packets'.
- Step 4
- Place the salmon packets on a baking tray and cook for 25 mins.
- Step 5
- Serve with or without the foil packet.
