Sizzled chicken thighs, soft, moist meat dripping with juices. it works way better with skin-on but I can never seem to find them at the butchers.

Sizzling Chicken Thighs

Ingredients

  • 4 x chicken thighs (boneless and skinless)
  • 2 tbsp lard
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

Preparation

  • Remove the chicken from the fridge 30 mins before cooking.

Method

  • Step 1
    • Melt the lard in a frying pan on high heat. (Number 8.)
  • Step 2
    • Dry the chicken thighs with a kitchen towel and rub them with salt and pepper.
  • Step 3
    • Add the chicken thighs to the pan and cook for 10-15 mins turning partway through. The chicken is cooked when a meat thermometer reads 75°C.
  • Step 4
    • Serve.
