
Machine-made strawberry ice cream. Made with real strawberries and pefected by Isla, it was declared to be better than the ice cream they ate at the shop - go Mummy!

Strawberry Ice Cream

Ingredients
- 400 g strawberries
- 500 ml cream
- 350 ml milk
- 250 g sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
Instructions
Method
- Step 1
- Blend the strawberries until liquid.
- Step 2
- Whisk the cream until stiff.
- Step 3
- In a separate bowl, whisk the milk, sugar, strawberries and vanilla essence.
- Step 4
- Chill in the fridge for 2 hours.
- Step 5
- Make the ice cream according to the ice cream machine instructions.
- NOTE Our icecream machine is slightly small for this recipe and while it can take all of it, it works better with two churnings.
- Step 6
- Serve as a sloppy or place in the freezer for a couple of hours.
